iBurger restaurant: a new product from Apple?

In the beginning, God created the iPod, cause He hated silence and was a big fan of Lady Gaga, but that, he didn’t yet. Then He created the iPhone, cause He loved touching screens with his God Finger, just like James Bond. Then He created the iPad, cause He preferred the digital version of Wired Magazine. And after creating so many devices, He was very hungry, so He created the iBurger restaurant, right in downtown Montreal. Why in Montreal ? Well, God loves what is best so…

The lowercase “i” of iBurger makes inevitably think of an Apple product. But even though it sounds like it, this has nothing to do with the work of almighty Steve Jobs. iBurger is just a restaurant with interactive tables that allow people to surf the menu and order their drinks and food directly from the table. It’s a bistro-resto-rapido food with a touch of geekness.

Whatever the name is, the restaurant is very successful. I tested it last week. My interactive table perfectly worked, my order was digitally sent to the kitchen and within 10 minutes, a juicy Gourmet Burger was in front of me, just by my iPhone. And more important, the burger was delicious! With your finger, just like if you were the god of your own table, you can select beverage, entrées, deserts, and a series of options like “more onions” or “more cheese” or "please I want a cute waitress". Well, the latter option is not available now, but they’re working on it. Quick service, good food, iBurger offers good burgers just like Apple offers good products that work perfectly!

I’m just wondering, what would have happened if they had called that restaurant the "Windows-Burger"? Customers would have probably seen on their screen “Please install the latest driver if you want to order your burger”. Or “The waiter could not start working because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem”.

Well, it’s a good thing they called it iBurger.
